Administrative/Biographical Note

The Policy Sciences Graduate Program was founded at UMBC in 1974 as a Master's degree program, and expanded to include a PhD program in 1978. The program became the Department of Public Policy in 2003. In 2014, the department became the School of Public Policy.

Collection was transferred in five accessions, from Policy Science in 2003 and 2004, from Adam Yarmolinski and Marvin Mandel in 2008, and from the School of Public Policy in 2015. Accessions: UARC 2003-13, UARC 2004-09, UARC 2008-22, UARC 2008-59, UARC 2015-08.
